I have purchased two green check conures from Steve. Both birds were handfeed and extremely friendly. I was also very impressed with Steve's knowledge. He is quick to respond to my questions and is a pleasure to visit with. I am proud of my two conures and have recommend Steve to others interested in obtaining a well adjusted family pet.

Breeder Reply: Thanks Judith, I have enjoyed the photos you share with us of your new baby Green cheeks. The crash helmet is one of the funniest things I have ever seen to do with birds. You and your family are a pleasure to know. Please stay in touch and Thank you again for selecting our birds to be part of your family. |

We got a green cheek conure. We did have the test done to see the sex. Really great to work with and very caring. We knew our little girl was well cared for until she got to be with us. The information and communication was terrific.

Steve was very informative and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He has gorgous birds who are obviously very spoiled and handled regularly. I've always been a green cheek fan, but after seeing his birds i wanted to add a sun conure or two, as well as one of his gorgeous african greys, she was so well behaved and love to give cuddles. Infact I look forward to getting an african grey from him in the future. As i had mentioned he taught us alot, and we still go to him for any questions we have

I had a very bad experience while working with Steve. I wanted to get all the supplies needed and do some more research to which he responded with this in an email "Yeah, I believe your story about as much as I don't believe in Leprechauns. Thanks for wasting my time Tyler...please do not call me for a bird in the future as I would not feel comfortable selling one of my birds to you. Good Luck" Not a business I want to conduct business with.

Breeder Reply: Tyler contacted me on several occasions asking many, questions to which I gladly responded and helped him learn. He told me he wanted a green cheek because he knew his wasn't ready for a Quaker. !!First sign of trouble. He then inquired about my stock of birds. I was hesitant to tell him. I offered him a choice of birds and then his "stories" began. I have been selling and raising birds for over 15 years and am use to these scammers. I do not wish to do business with someone like Tyler Mortvedt, and I believe my decision is justified proven right by his nasty response. He got very mad when I told him I didn't believe his stories any longer, and his threats began. I see he wishes to tarnish my reputation which is unwarranted and vindictive. I have seen many Tyler Mortvedts come and Go!! I choose not to deal with them. |

I purchased a Yellowsided Greencheek from Steve and this is the most fun bird I have now. Very sweet and well socialized baby bird.
I will be back soon for a Congo Grey
