Harlequin macaw was hand raised and is now fully weaned. Eating well on it's own. Really enjoys trying new foods. As you can see from the pictures this is such a sweetheart. When the feathers fluff up around the face the bird wants to be loved on. Falling asleep while scratching around the face and under the wings. This bird has a more red look under the neck and under the body. Does have some orange as well. With this type of macaw you get a little of every color. This is the perfect age to truly bond and spoil this bird. I give my birds plenty of love. I will put my face right up against theirs so they will get used to this kind of closeness. They truly love snuggles and as much attention as you can give them. Harlequins are the easiest to handle and train. Out of a lot of the other large macaws this one is at the top for being the sweetest.
