Gorgeous, but not tame. Does not talk (this is my most frequently asked question). If you’re looking for a hands-off companion, an aviary bird, or a rewarding challenge, she could be a great fit. While Amazons are capable of learning to talk, that depends on the individual bird and the effort put into training. Known as a “mini” Amazon (white fronted), she’s the perfect size for apartment living with a quieter noise level than larger parrots. She would do well in an aviary setting, as part of a breeding pair, or with a dedicated owner willing to build her confidence. This healthy girl enjoys a varied diet of pellets, veggies, sprouted seeds, and fruit, and she’s trained to drink from a water bottle.
