This sweet White Bellied Caique baby hatched on March 15 and is currently in her sleepy, growing stage – just starting to develop her bright feathers and signature silly personality. Hand-raised with care, she’s getting all the attention and support she needs to grow into a confident, social little clown. She’ll be weaning onto a healthy diet of pellets and fresh foods and is expected to be ready for her new home around mid to late June, depending on her individual progress. Caiques often take a little longer to wean, and we never rush the process.
