    you got a partial refund i cannot be responsible for the airlines i sent you a video of your happy healthy baby being accepted by airlines. that is all I can do. a partial refund was fair the airlines should have paid for it all but you took the bird home thus they could not do the necropsy required by the airlines for a claim

The one baby was fine the other was not. 2. the airlines failed to take responsibility big surprise so I refunded you for the one bird. If what that let report was true yiur other bird woukd not be doing great.     501 are for rescues and charitable org. I have all licensed required in the state. I include sales tax in the price of the bird or have a separate listing for it for thame larger birds.     Mindy, you knew the baby unweaned that was okay with you the baby was on 2 feedings and eatting cherrios and corn on its own.. You stated you had experience with reptiles and other babies, so I felt comfortable in giving you the baby unweaned as you had asked. I have the email and Messenger documentation to prove it. I told you at least five different times that if you have any questions or concerns, call me. The baby was very healthy. You never indicated you had any concerns for the baby. You never called or texted me with any issues. So if there was something wrong, why did you not call me. The only communication I had with you after you received your baby was concerning buying new food. I responded, giving you a picture and information concerning the food. You then texted me the next day saying the baby died, however I did not see your message, as I was not near my phone. Your husband contacted me before I was even aware of any issues with your baby and he told me that your baby had passed away. He was very nice and completely understanding when I was asking for the bird back so 1. I can prove it died. 2. That I can find out what happened because a sudden death like this could be you aspirated the baby unintentionally. He stated he fully understood, as he sells cars and that there are people that can be very deceiving and just want to fight. He told me that when he got home he would get everything set up to get the baby back to me. Neither he nor I were aware that you had already started making these accusations. K.Caven that you bring up in your complaint, her bird was replaced, so I don't know why she is still complaining. I have documentation and pictures of her situation as well, where she soaked the bird, then placed it next to her cat to dry. After discussion, I replaced her baby, though clearly at no fault of mine, and the end result is still the same. If someone wants to make a name for themselves and sound like they're the victim, it doesn't matter what you do. Though I asked you several times, you refused to return the body so there is nothing further I can offer you. I have attempted to contact you via phone calls, however you refuse to answer. You calling me a mill is inaccurate and a deformation of character. I do not let people come to my home no matter what. I am not set up for the public. I am not a store. I am a breeder. There are very specific differences between the two. I will not risk my family's or my babies' health and safety, along with multiple legal purposes that do not permit me to allow the public to come to my location. I told you my policy, sent you handouts before you got the baby, outlining our bird policy. You had no issues or questions concerning everything I sent you. I offered to do the necropsy, and if it were something on my end, I would replace the baby. You refused to return the baby, so that is no longer a viable option. I have thousands of happy customers, many of which have purchased multiple babies from me with no issues. I have been doing this for over 40 years, and have gone to small claims court twice. I won both cases because the evidence is clear that I care and protect my babies, have appropriate licensure and policies in place to be able to help people that find themselves in unfortunate situations like yours, and if anyone refuses to follow the policies and procedures, I have no requirement whatsoever to replace your baby. I will not fight with you any further on any public or social platforms.

    I dont know any aviary breeder right now that allows people to come and shop around. COVID RESTRICTIONS AND DISEASE CONTROL. I am not a pet store I am a breeder. For the safety of my birds and babies I do mot allow visitors I am not set up with covid restrictions for that. I am happy to bring babies out to you so you can view them. As to my birds you are not informed correctly there is more than just me and not all birds breed at the sametime for example I am not doing live birds or covkatieks during Indian ring neck and quaker season I am not new to birds been in buisness for over 50 years. Sounds like you are wanting to go to a PET STORE to view birds not a breeder.

    I explained in detail you bought the first bird before DNA came in offically the lady read results over phone and you were informed Of this but you insisted on picking baby up. Since I had never had a issue with getting it over the phone thought that was fine... When it the results came in I sent you the DNA acknowledging that it was a female offered you refund or replacement. I brought you a Male per your approval. Sometime while you had the bird you noticed what you called swelling . Which turned out it had a seed under its eye lid. When removed the babys eye swelling went down. But it will be under medical hold for 10 days to make sure there is no scratch or infection. I did offer a replacement and even meet you to do a exchange but again confusion sometimes people just dont see eye to eye and you can not make them happy thru no fault of either party . I decided that it was just better to do a full refund. How hard you try to do things just keep . I know you wanted to get the bird but I just did not feel you would be happy and would be better dealing with someone else. I am sorry we could not see eye to eye but my babies are so precious to me that I just cannot let them go to just anyone. I am sure you will find a bird thru someone else wish you well.

    When I have 20 babies I cannot have them flying all around the house. They are allowed to fly a couple times and then clipped. If you had decided on the Quaker as your 2nd opotion earlier I could have left a baby unclipped. You told me monday that you would be here friday and she has already clipped them. It is just not safe to have 20 babies flying around the house I cannot watch all of them at once and I do not like keeping babies caged up they need to have socialization.

    All my birds are tested yearly for this ... they were all negative. I even retested the birds and they are all negative. SO THIS DID NOT COME FROM MY PLACE. This has been a hard lesson on how people can be. You and kathy I think are trying to run a scam on me. I have never got any paper work from you or her just your claims. Anyone could claim that just like the lady back east that claimed issues but the autopsy reports showed that she starved her birds they died of malnutrition. I will take this as a good life lesson on how people try to ruin your good reputation. Next year all babies will go out of her being tested for PBFD so that people can not make irronious claims like this.

    you took your bird in to the vet and had a complete health check up right after you got the bird. I cannot be there with my babies to see what is going on with them . I have videos from you showing the bird after 5 days playing and doing well... I cannot be responsible for things that are out of my control. My birds are all tested and I retested all of them to asurre myself that nothing sneaked in to effect my birds. and they test out for every disease negative.

    Donna you took the birds in for a well bird check. The vet said tgey were healthy and fine you have had them for almost 3 wks and they were eatting and acting fine. You wrote me and told me that the one bird got it's beak stuck with it's neck they the ring where you forgot to put their water dish back in. How is that my fault. Nobody would guarantee a bird that died like that. I have your text telling me what happen in your own words your other bird flew into a wall and broke it's knee cap again how is that my fault.

    A lot more to this then you are putting in. I replaced the first baby. When the second died I told you I would do any refund until you had a necropsy done this is a normal request. You told me you were having t bis done. When I followed up I found out that you did not have a becrosoy done the second bird was never seen by a vet. Having 2 babies pass is totally weird the siblings to both your birds are doing great so again as I told you either your car or your home has something toxic.thsts what the necropsy would tell us. But you told me you were having it done then you tell me you never did and lied to me.

    Yes I totally agree and as you said I should have ban them from the start and only dealt with the customer. THis girl had the bird for 2 weeks up until then it was totally healthy it just fell over dead in from what it sounds like now a matter of hours. I cannnot say what happens to a bird once it leaves my homes there are so many issues like poisons, being stepped on. no food or water etc. there is no way of knowing. I stand behind my birds as best I can but after 2 weeks of the bird being totally healthy and then just dropping dead that is not a sick bird there is something else that happened. I asked her to bring me the dead bird and not have heard anything from her at all she has my phone number. But as you can see her freind got invovled it just became a big mess and totally childish as you said... Hope you find a nice bird and sorry this happen.
