  Angela We purchased a mustache parakeet from them. HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. Very sweet, caring and knowledgable breeders. We drove from Knoxville to get our baby and would not hesitate to make the trip to purchase another bird from them anytime. In fact, it was a real joy just to visit with them. She kept me informed with regular e-mail and photos of Sweet Pea from hatching to weaned, something I really appreciated. Sweet Pea is very calm and well socialized and, as her name implies,very sweet.   Shea This is the first time I've ever had an animal shipped to me, and I must say, it was a much more pleasant experience than I was expecting. Carmen is a wonderful breeder, and kept me informed about my baby's progress. Because I live a few states away, she frequently sent pictures to show me how things were going. She worked with me budget-wise, and even allowed me to pay in installments.   Terry, I understand the hesitation and worry that buyers have in trying to develop trust with a stranger where expectations are tested with the iffiness of so many different outcomes. I take this all seriously as I can well-imagine how I would feel in the buyer's situation of being at the mercy of that stranger. There are a lot of good bird breeders and it is important to me to be in that category. carmen... I have missed these birds the most.

  gordon The experience of buying a Pionus from Carmen was perfect. I was very wary about buying a parrot and having it shipped to me by plane. When the bird arrived it was relaxed and healthy. carmen sent pictures during the wait so I could see it's development as a baby. My Pinous is now over 6 months old and is a very sweet and lovable bird. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Carmen to anyone. i promise you that it'll be a good decision.   Angela Piedmont, South Carolina Great Breeder ! I purchased a Umbrella Cockatoo 6 months old from Carmen. We Just love and adore our Umbrella she is so sweet ! Emmie is so well adjusted and loving. She allowed everyone in the home to play with her. She is a very healthy little girl also. She was socialized better than any Umbrella Cockatoo i have ever seen.   Derek Carmen is probably one of the kindest breeders I have had the opportunity to work with. I purchased a sun conure female from her and the bird is extremely beautiful. Since the female, now named Kala, was already an adult she was concerned about her adjusting, but she has adapted really well and is very sweet. All thanks to Carmen.   Jason Atlanta, Ga Purchased a male Alexandrian about a month and ago and have been very pleased. He's settling in and his fav treats are almonds and pecans. This is my first exotic after raising and training hunting hawks, falcons and owls for over 15 years... I'm learning so much from him, he's a great little fellow. She sent me pictures of my bird the whole time I waited for my bird to be ready. I e-mailed her alot about my bird. She was so good about answering me about anything I wanted to know.
