    Kayla . I just read you in detail review , I’m sorry you feel it necessary to try and impact me negatively , what I do well is raise birds , raising birds occupies at least 18 hrs of my day when they are young , the Ringneck you ordered was hatched in an incubator , from day one , I fed it 6 times daily from that point and if you times this by the amount of babies I have it’s 18 hrs of work daily , the reason I hatch ringnecks from day 1 is because I have found it is the best way to ensure the pet quality of the bird . I am very good at raising birds . If you take time to read my reviews you will see over and over Again that people comment on how well socialized my birds are . Because of these demands I guess I can be slow to answer but I try and keep up , I guess I misunderstood you last email , now that I have re read it I see that you were asking for more info about flights . You wrote in you review that money was no object so I’m not quite sure why you didn’t ask to pay extra for shipping as this was one of the options we offered , but you stated that you would wait till next season or until delta resumed . So as for your recommendation about changing my business practices ... I will keep caring for my birds as I have always done , BUT instead of me being the person to to keep up with customers needs , my wife will handle all correspondence , that way this sort of situation should be avoided . Finally , I was not being condescending in my voicemail and am sorry you thought that I was . The review process can be fair and unfair , vendors have no control over what people write and the is no judge to verify if it is justified or not . Covid 19 has seriously affected my family business , I have never experienced not being able to ship my birds to their new owners , it has hit us financially as it has many business owners in many fields , I Pray that some kind of solution can be found to lessen the disastrous impacts of this virus .

    Totally unjustified bad review , The day before Andrew called us having his “moment “ his wife had agreed to collect this baby bird from Detroit airport , we were working around Delta airlines restricted Flight Schedules due to covid 19 , So we had added this bird on that weeks shipping schedule . Im not sure what happened with the communication between Andrew and his wife but when he called the next morning being totally obnoxious and pompous , he knew nothing about his wifes order , not the type of bird nor that she had agreed to collect the bird from Detroit , he immediately went into a rant about that he owned a business and could “urinate” on the amount of money his wife had placed on our baby bird and continued to threaten us with court action if he didn’t get his way . he capped this rant of with suggesting that I should go have sex with myself ……….so with that said only being human I suggested he do that same lol . Andrew in his ultimate wisdom then opened a paypal case saying that he had not received the product he had ordered, well of course he hadn’t he had only paid a deposit on the bird and no shipping , so paypal denied the claim . I asked my wife to call him as she has much more patience than me with people like him , he was the same “charming Andrew to her even though she was supper kind and professional to him .

    This lady ordered a baby that has a ready date in the mifddle of May , she also has ordered a female . At this point as i explaned to her the baby is too young to safelydetermine its sex as it is only in pin feathers . whilst i do sometimes agree to let customers handfeed , i always let them know the dangers and try to discourage doing so . One thing i will never do is let a bird go to young or have a proceedure done on a baby to early just becasue a customer is impatient or has lack of knowledge of the process of rearing a baby bird

  • Daniel Very dishonest. Sold me a bird that isn't tame. Several calls and numerous emails and Mark is not willing to help. The bird was not ready until 4 or 5 weeks past the date given. Breeder is about the money and not out to sell quality family pets. Beware....you will lose out in more ways than one.     This guy actually visited his bird twice in person , and was handed his bird the day he took it home ... it wasn't a bad bird then , maybe chasing it with a dowel around his cage every time you tried to interact with your bird isn't a good bonding practice Daniel !!!!I did tell that's probably the worst thing to establish a trusting relationship with your bird , I feel so badly for your bird. For people that read this , it is very important that you handle your bird correctly and read its body language , you can easily loose the trust of your bird if you continually scare it . thanks for the feedback I wish you the best .   • Ann I wish I had more than 500 characters to rate Mark and Best Birds Aviary. I received my African Grey on Monday and she is the sweetest, most lovable little thing. Mark is amazing and you can't beat that accent. :-) I was a huge pain in the butt buyer and Mark was nothing less than courteous and sincere.
