These beautiful social birds are also known as excellent talkers and mimics. Yellow Napes are one of the largest species of Amazons. They are a stunning bright, iridescent green. As they mature and reach adulthood, they develop a bright yellow patch around the back of their necks. Yellow Napes have remarkable talking abilities. They can acquire a huge vocabulary consisting of words, phrases and even songs. The minimum cage size for this bird would be 36’’ long, 28’’ wide and 65’’ high.
