Baby Cape Parrot (P. robustus) Available! Cape Parrots are a member of the genus Poicephalus and they are native to Africa. They are absolutely gorgeous. Females will maintain an orange head as they mature, males will molt into a beautiful silver head. They are slightly smaller than a Congo African Grey, and they make outstanding companions. They require lots of time and commitment. The minimum cage size for this bird would be 36" long, 28" wide, 65" high. The larger the cage the better for the health of your parrot.
